Danish documentary about a Danish / South African married couple living outside Cape Town.
For more than a quarter of a century ago, Trine from Aarhus met Allan, who fought in the underground army of the ANC.
About the cultural differences that grow over the years, about Trine’s fear of the violence in the divided South African society and Allan’s annoyance over the lack of life in the wealthy white suburb he now lives in after the childhood in the poor but lively township.
About Denmark seen with South African eyes, and South Africa seen with Danish eyes.
And about the two daughters love for father and mother and their division between the two different countries their parents are children of.
